Chinese shares decreased on Tuesday, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 1.74 percent to set at 2,978.12 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.97 percent to close at 9,722.79 points.
The join trading volume of shares in the two indexes reached USD82.84 billion.
Most shares decreased, losers outnumbered gainers by 1,373 to 144 on the Shanghai bourse and 1,945 to 239 in Shenzhen.
