Tunisia, Belgium ink deal to convert debt into projects


(MENAFN) Tunisia inked a deal with Belgium, aiming to launch initiatives related to development through the transformation of Tunisian debt.

Under the deal, a number of projects will be funded while job opportunities will be opened, as assured the Tunisian Foreign Ministry in a statement.

It comes in line with efforts the two countries are making to expand their collaboration and boost their bilateral relations.

General Director for Europe and the European Union at the Tunisian Foreign Ministry, Nabil Ammar penned the contract with Belgian Ambassador to Tunisia in Tunis.
