Wedding bombing leads to 63 deaths in Afghanistan

Afghan Police said on Sunday that 63 people died and more than 180 were injured in a Saturday night suicide bombing that took place in a wedding hall in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, according to Xinhua.

Police released a statement saying that "A total of 63 people were martyred and 182 wounded following Saturday night's terrorist incident in Kabul"

The bombing was inside Shahr-e-Dubai wedding hall in Police District 6 at about 10:40 p.m. of local time on Saturday when the place was full with guests attending a wedding.

Several women and children died in the incident and the number of deaths is expected to rise as many suffered serious injuries and remain in critical condition.
