Kuwait City ranks 119th out of 204 cities around the world in cost of living ranking


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, June 30: Kuwait City ranked 119th out of 204 cities around the world in Mercer's 2019 cost of living city ranking, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Kuwait City, which ranked 10th among Arab cities, maintained its last ranking in the GCC compared to its position last year when it took the 121st slot in the 2018 index.

According to the index, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh took the first three positions among Arab and Gulf countries – 21st, 33rd and 35th respectively. Lebanon ranked fourth among Arab cities (53rd globally), while Amman ranked 75th in the world and sixth in the Arab region.
