(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 25 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti MP lashed out at Finance Minister Dr. Nayif Al-Hajraf on Tuesday for "reneging on his word" over ensuring proper pension plans for retirees.
As the minister was questioned by lawmakers amid a session of parliament, Mohammad Hayef said Al-Hajraf was in a precarious position and faces mounting financial responsibilities.
Al-Hajraf needs to "face the consequences" of his actions, the lawmaker declared, saying filing a grilling motion against the minister was the only way to address the problem. (end)
