Tanzania eyes Chinese travel market, to launch road shows

(MENAFN) Tanzania's tourism watchdog set June 19 and June 26 for the commencement of tourism road shows within four cities in China.

The Tanzania tourist Board (TTB) will be cooperating with more Tanzanian tourism stakeholders for the road shows to be carried out in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Changsha.

Highlighting Tanzania's keenness for the continuously reinforced Chinese travel market is the purpose behind the move, as explained TTB Board of Directors Chairman Thomas Mihayo.

Mihayo stated: "the aim of the tourism road shows is to attract more tourists from the Chinese travel market by showcasing our tourist attractions in China's four main cities."
