(MENAFN) Culture and Tourism Ministry announced Turkey to have registered a 24 percent boost in its foreign tourists in April 2019 compared to a year ago.
Statistics the ministry unveiled showered Turkey to have welcomed roughly 3.3 million foreign guests during the fourth month of the year.
According to the ministry, Turkey received over 1.3 million visitors in Istanbul to mark it as the best tourist destination within the country.
It further added that more than 930,000 foreigners headed to the Mediterranean resort city of Antalya to indicate a 28 percent surge.
