(MENAFN) Police declared that a girl, aged 17 has been hospitalized in serious state after she was raped then set on fire.
An Indian man has been detained in links with the incident.
This case is counted as the second of such in Jharkhand recently, as in a separate tragic case, a girl was raped and burned to death.
Police don't suspect that the two incidents are related.
