Morocco intends to purchase weapons from U.S worth USD2.78B


(MENAFN) Morocco will purchase USD3.787 billion worth of weapons from the United States, the Moroccan financial news site Medias24.com reported Monday.

According to a press statement by the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency earlier in the day, the agreement contains the buying of 25 F-16/D Block 72 jet and related weapons.

Morocco now possesses 23 F-16 fighter jets.
