Palestine's PM wraps up new cabinet talks


(MENAFN) Talks between Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Ishtaye and factions of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) on a new unity government have been wrapped up.

Palestine's prime minister confirmed that he was engaged in talks on the government establishment for a two-week period.

Consultations were also held between the prime minister and civil society representatives, the private sector and municipal councils.

Ishtaye added that the consultations ended with an optimistic view, in line with the general vision of the government and its program.
