UK's May appeals Brexit delay to late June

(MENAFN) British Prime Minister Theresa May announced that she sent an official appeal for Brexit to be postponed until June 30 rather than this month.

EU Council President Donald Tusk was delivered a letter with the request, the British prime minister told the House of Commons.

More domestic suggestions on the Irish issue will be reviewed, the prime minister further declared.

"As prime minister, I am not prepared to delay Brexit any further than June 30," May emphasized.
