Egypt's BDC opens new UAE office

(MENAFN) Egyptian Banque du Caire (BDC) inaugurated a new office in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as it seeks to expand and tap into the market in the GCC states.

BDC's new office in the UAE would strengthen trade relations between Egypt and the Gulf region, along with boosting financing foreign trade activities, affirmed CEO and Chairman Tarek Fayed.

The new office is set to contribute to the market share growth of 15 percent within the region, the CEO emphasized.

It comes as BDC owns 15 percent of the total remittances of Egyptian expats operating in Gulf countries.
