China's Yunnan jumps 24.7 percent in foreign trade


(MENAFN) Yunnan, a southwest Chinese province, was announced to have recorded in 2018 a 24.7 percent surge in its foreign trade on a yearly basis.

Foreign trade in the Chinese province reached last year an overall of USD29 billion, unveiled customs authorities Kunming Customs on Wednesday.

Exports in the province, the customs authorities revealed, registered an annual boost by 9.4 percent with imports jumping 39.3 percent.

Trade with ASEAN states was also confirmed by customs to have amounted for 46.1 percent of Yunnan's imports and exports.
