Israeli soldiers shot, wound 33 Palestinians in clashes


(MENAFN) Not less than 33 Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli fighters' gunfire during clashes with Palestinian demonstrators in eastern Gaza Strip, close to the border with Israel, medics stated.

Ashraf al-Qedra, spokesman of the health ministry in Gaza, told reporters that 33 Palestinian demonstrators were shot and injured by Israeli soldiers' gunfire in eastern Gaza Strip.

He emphasized that among those who were wounded, there were a woman and a child who were shot in their legs.

On Friday afternoon, thousands of Palestinian demonstrators participated in the anti-Israel 37th Friday of rallies and demonstrations better known as the Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege.
