Saudi King lays corner stone for USD 3 billion ventures


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz laid the corner stone for up to 151 development enterprises worth 11.8 billion riyals (USD 3.146 billion) during a visit to Tabuk on Tuesday, it was officially announced.

Tabuk Amir, Prince bin Sultan, said in a statement during a gathering of the region residents who welcomed the monarch, said inauguration of these enterprises came simultaneously with wide-scale development at the national level.

The new projects involve a large number of ministries, authorities, in addition to the ventures run by the Public Investment Fund regarding the key projects, Neom, the Red Sea and Amala. (end) mdm.rk
