Major Moroccan festival to feature Iranian movie


(MENAFN) Iran achieved a breakthrough in its entertainment sector, announcing the first Iranian made movie to be viewed in a top international festival.

The 23rd edition of the International Film Festival, to be held in Morocco, is to present the only Iranian movie on its massive screen.

Nima Eqlima is the director of "Amir", the Iranian film, which is to be featured alongside another thirteen movies.

The festival will also be presenting thirteen other films from Tunisia, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Spain, France, Serbia, Georgia and Belgium.

The description of the Iranian film says: "everybody commits suicide; one through his job, one through money, one through life and one through smoking. The ways are different."
