Bahrain welcomes US Senate's proceeded weapons sale vote

The Bahraini Foreign Ministry commended the move as a significant step that matches the historical and strong relations between Bahrain and the US, and the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.
The ministry, in a statement, appreciated this positive stance that serves the kingdom's security and reflects Washington's commitment to Gulf security and counterterrorism.
It reaffirmed its unwavering backing to US efforts to maintain regional and international security and peace, according to the statement.
