Qatar to attend Kuwait book fair


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Culture and Sports announced that it will participate in the 43rd Kuwait International Book Fair, kicking off today.
Head of Doha International Book Fair Jassim al-Buainain said the ministry will participate with a pavilion, exhibiting its various publications, in co-operation with its partners Katara Publishing House, Roza Publishing and Lusail Publishing and Distribution.
He said the ministry is keen to participate in the Kuwait International Book Fair annually, as it is enriches the Gulf, Arab and international publishing movement, being one of the oldest book fairs.
He added that the publications in the pavilion will be ranging from literary, heritage, artistic and other editions to reflect the richness of the Qatari cultural scene. Qatar's participation shows the country's creativity in various artistic, cultural and heritage fields. — QNA
