Kuwait Airways to operate additional flight to Tbilisi Sat. morning


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said it was coordinating with Kuwait Airways to send an additional flight to Tbilisi, Georgia, after midnight Friday to bring back Kuwaiti citizens whose returning flights on Wataniya Airways were cancelled.
Flight KU 1192, sent at the request of the government, would fly at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, DGCA said in a statement, and urged citizens in Tbilisi to contact Kuwait Consulate in the Georgian captial to arrange their return on following number: (+995) 556-862-7160.
Minister of State for Housing and Minister of State for Services Jenan Bushehri said last week His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah instructed the Foreign Ministry and DGCA to bring back Kuwaitis stranded after cancellation of flights on Wataniya Airways.
