Jordan- PM inspects workflow at Aqaba terminals


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, June 9 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Thursday inspected the southern port city of Aqaba to have a first-hand look at projects and workflow in some key projects and public entities.

The premier stopped at the Aqaba terminals port and looked at the workflow there, urging workers and officials to exert their utmost to serve the city and trade movement.

Mulki also issued directives to transfer all equipment to the new terminal to hand the land to Eagle Hills Company, which will start on real estate and investment projects there.

While in the city, the prime minister met with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority Board of Commissioners and underlined the importance of pressing ahead with efforts to realize the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II to turn the Red Sea port city of Aqaba into an economic development engine.

Mulki issued directives to facilitate the movement of tourists and regional flights via King Hussein International Airport and attract more visitors and tourists into the city.
