Baraem TV celebrates its 4th anniversary


(MENAFNEditorial) January 20, 2013: January 16th marked an important day in the history of Arab children entertainment – the fourth anniversary of Baraem TV. Since its beginnings, Baraem has kept its promise of providing its viewers with valuable and qualitative entertainment for preschoolers. Acknowledged by both parents and children, Baraem has emerged as the channel that delivers responsible content and has inspired generations in the Arab world. From memorable shows, to fun and learning activities, Baraem has helped families play and learn together. Speaking on the occasion, Haya bint Khalifa Al Nassr, Acting Executive General Manager said: "The recognition and trust of our viewers is a significant milestone for our vision and strategy. This encouragement keeps us motivated to continue engaging our audience through our programming with an assurance to parents that we will always provide responsible content." Saad Al Hudaifi, Acting Channels Director added saying, "The anniversary is just the start of our journey; we have many more surprises planned for our audiences including a new line-up of shows that will feature in-house and international productions." Some of the new shows are scheduled on January 2013 grid include Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, Jojo's Circus, and many more. Commemorating its 4th anniversary, Baraem hosted a theatrical event – Ba-Ba-Ba-Baraem at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). The show brought together renowned presenters, familiar puppets and iconic characters on a set specially created for the event. Children had the opportunity to take photographs and interact with their favourite Baraem characters. Several Baraem TV fans and families from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and Tunisia attended the event to celebrate Baraem TV's 4th Anniversary. Zummurrud Mohammad, from Tunisia said: "I personally love Baraem TV as all of the programs are responsible and educational. Thanks to Baraem TV my daughter has improved her language skills and is more confident in Arabic! In specific, I encourage my daughter to watch interactive shows such as 'Tila and Toula' and 'Sid the Science Kid'. May Abdul Qadir, an Egyptian residing in Kuwait, further expressed her support for Baraem TV by saying: "Believe it or not my children are constantly watching Baraem TV. In fact, they don't give us the chance to watch anything else!" In addition, Nuha Mustafa Abduallah from Egypt thanked Baraem TV for everything the channel provides children with. The event was very exciting for the parents and specially the children. The live theatrical performance was combined with video clips. The plot revolved around the anniversary celebrations and as the plot thickened our characters were faced with many challenges which they overcome with ease by the end of the story. As the plot unfolded, the audience lost themselves in the story and the auditorium was soon filled with joy and laughter. The cast was made of Baraem's renowned presenters – Marwa and Iman along with iconic puppets like Nashit, Noun, Teela and Toola. The highlight of the evening was Fafa, who much to the children' delight, made a guest appearance at the end of the performance. The evening ended on a high note with a special Baraem song sung live by over 30 performers with children from the audience joining in. With close to 500 parents and children attending, the evening was memorable and delightful for all. The show was broadcasted live on Baraem TV.
