Jordan- Indonesia gives assistance packages to ICCS
(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 15 (Petra) -- Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia presented 550 aid packages and medicine to the Islamic Charity Center Society (ICCS).
During a meeting with a delegation representing Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia along with Indonesian students in Jordan, the President of ICCS, Jameel Al. Dhaisat, commended the Indonesian people and their initiative to distribute assistance to the people in need in Jordan. He also highlighted the strong ties between Jordan and Indonesia in various domains.
He said that the ICCS is ready to cooperate with the Indonesian charity associations including Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia to strengthen charity work, noting that Jordan shoulderes a heavy burden as a result of its humanitarian stances.
The Indonesian delegation thanked the president of the ICCS for his directives to cooperate with the Indonesian campaign that was supported by the offices of the ICCS. Gerakan Pramuka Indonesia also donated a vehicle to the ICCS to be used as a mobile clinic for charitable purposes.
