FGCCC signs agreement with IFP

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC) recently signed a partnership agreement with International Fairs and Promotions - Qatar (IFP - Qatar) to organise 'GCC Europe Forum 2011' which will be held annually in all the GCC countries. The partnership contract was signed by Abdulrahim Hasan Naqi, Secretary-General of FGCCC and George Ayache, General Manager of IFP - Qatar. The aim of 'GCC Europe Forum 2011' is to consolidate cooperation between Gulf countries and Europe in view of the strategic and economic importance of each side, emphasising the small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Naqi said that the Secretariat reviewed the experience and expertise of IFP - Qatar in organising events and economic forums, where it worked hard to provide all the possibilities for the success of these events at all levels. The FGCCC Secretariat had set an ambitious plan to care for a number of economic activities in the six Gulf States and to develop the role of the private sector through investment and trade and to provide different services to the sector, added Naqi. He pointed out the signing of the agreement with IFP - Qatar plays a big role in the success of 'GCC Europe Forum 2011' as the Forum will be a milestone for both public and private sectors in GCC and Europe.
