Blast Outside Police Station In Kharkiv


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) An explosion was reported outside the main entrance to the Police station in Kharkiv. According to tentative data, the incident involved an unidentified explosive device.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Region PD on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"The police are investigating an explosion in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. It has been tentatively established that an unidentified explosive device detonated outside the central entrance to the administrative building of the territorial police unit," the report says.

According to the PD, the incident occurred on December 8 at around 17:00. The explosion damaged the building's façade with no casualties reported.

The bomb squad and the crime scene investigation team are inspecting the site. No suspects have been identified so far.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 166 people, including a child, were injured in Kharkiv last month as a result of Russian strikes. One person was killed.
