On The Sidelines Of The Doha Forum 2024, Qatar Charity Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With Adam Smith International


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) On the sidelines of the Doha Forum 2024, Qatar Charity (QC) and Adam Smith International (ASI), a global advisory company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for cooperation in humanitarian and development sectors.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Yousuf bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, and Ms. Jalpa Patel, CEO of Adam Smith International.

Through this MoU, the two parties aim to explore ways to cooperate in areas of mutual interest related to humanitarian and development initiatives, design humanitarian and development programs with specific goals and strategies, develop performance indicators in line with Qatar Charity's strategy and operational plans, and exchange best practices and technical expertise to achieve the mutual goals of both parties.

On this occasion, Mr. Yousuf bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, said, "The signing of this MoU reflects Qatar Charity's commitment to leveraging the expertise and advisory solutions of leading international companies in developing policies for NGOs, enhancing their effectiveness, and improving their performance to achieve the greatest impact in sustainable development efforts.”

Al Kuwari added that such agreements help NGOs ensure the governance of their financial and administrative operations, implement compliance procedures to guarantee transparency and integrity in their humanitarian work, and uphold the human dignity of their beneficiaries.

He hoped that this agreement would facilitate the exchange of best practices and expertise to develop performance indicators that align with Qatar Charity's strategy and operational plans.

For her part, Ms. Jalpa Patel, CEO of Adam Smith International, said,“This MoU represents a shared vision of opportunity and lasting impact for those we serve, even in the most challenging contexts.
