Israeli Occupation Forces Shoot Dead Young Palestinian In Jerusalem

RAMALLAH, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- A young Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli occupying forces in northern Jerusalem on Saturday, said the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
"Tareq Ghazawnah, 27, was martyred by the gunfire of occupying forces at Qalandia military checkpoint in northern Jerusalem. He was taken to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah City," the ministry said in a press release.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a press release that its medical teams were prevented from offering first aid to the dead young Palestinian who was left bleeding before eventually reaching him.
The Israeli occupation has been waging the worst aggression ever on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of over 44,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of more than 100,000 others.
Thousands of Palestinian victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them. (end)
