World Religious Leaders Perform Namaz In Azerbaijan's Aghdam Juma Mosque


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) AGHDAM, Azerbaijan, November 7. The Jamaat Namaz (collective namaz) was performed in Aghdam's Juma Mosque with the participation of world religious leaders, Trend 's Karabakh bureau reports.

According to the information, following the call to prayer by the Chairman of the Religious Affairs Department of Türkiye Ali Erbaş, the attendees started to perform namaz.

Afterward, they were shown the consequences of vandalism committed against the mosque and other sanctuaries and religious monuments during the occupation.

To note, the participants of the Global Summit of World Religious Leaders are in Karabakh. Within the framework of the trip, the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Authority Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade will review the consequences of Armenian vandalism during the period of occupation, as well as the ongoing restoration and construction works, and visit religious sites.
