CIS Countries Adopt Tariff Policy For Freight Transport For Upcoming Year
This tariff policy was approved during the XXXIII Tariff Conference of Railway Administrations held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The conference involved representatives from the railway administrations of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the Council on Railway Transport of CIS member countries, who discussed the tariff policy.
The tariff policy has been developed in accordance with the key principles of the Concept for Establishing a Coordinated Tariff Policy in Railway Transport of CIS member countries, which was approved by the Council of Heads of State of the CIS in October 1996.
