Int'l Observation Missions' Chiefs Confirm Election Legitimacy - Georgian PM

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 27. International observation missions have expressed no doubts about the election legitimacy during their press conference, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated, Trend reports.

He further noted that the observers emphasized the election was “competitive, met international standards, and their assessment accurately represents the current reality.”

“The observers specifically mentioned an 'elected government' in their evaluation, clearly affirming their recognition of the election's legitimacy. This is highly significant.

I would like to thank all missions for their efforts in monitoring these elections. We remained transparent throughout the process, inviting observation missions since February. The elections were conducted,” Kobakhidze added.
