President Ilham Aliyev Calls Armenia's Peace Agreement Proposal Provisions Unrealistic

The Armenian government's strange proposal to "sign what has been agreed upon so far and leave the unagreed provisions for the next stages" is completely unrealistic, said the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, receiving the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to our country, Julien de Fraipont, Trend reports.

The head of state underscored that the peace treaty's provisions are of equal value and interdependent. President Ilham Aliyev stated that, in this regard, he considers the Armenian government's strange proposal to "sign what has been agreed upon so far and leave the unagreed provisions for the next stages" completely unrealistic, emphasizing that he is not aware of any precedent for such an approach.
