Azerbaijan's CBA Delegation Participates In WB, IMF Electoral Group Meeting

A representative group from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) took part in a recent routine meeting of the electoral group of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where Azerbaijan is included as a member, Trend reports.

Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov shared insights from the meeting in a post on his X page.

"We had the pleasure of attending the next constituency group meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund held during the annual meetings for 2024.

The meeting's discussions concentrated on the enhancement of financial inclusion, macroeconomic development trends across the represented countries, and other critical topics on the global financial agenda," the publication reads.

The meeting also addressed the prospects for cooperation among member countries of the electoral group.
