Azerbaijani Embassy In Lebanon Reports No Requests For Evacuation - MFA


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21. The Azerbaijani Embassy in Lebanon has not received any appeals from Azerbaijanis regarding the evacuation, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend.

“There are very few Azerbaijanis registered at the embassy in Lebanon, and no appeals have been received from any of them,” the statement of the ministry reads.

Furthermore, it was noted that on August 3, Azerbaijani citizens were warned about visiting Lebanon.

To note, as a result of explosions at communication facilities in Lebanon on September 17, at least 12 people were killed and 4,000 injured. Consequently, passengers of airplanes in Lebanon were forbidden to carry pagers and walkie-talkies.
