Turkmenistan, Iran Discuss Boosting Co-Op In Science And Technology

A delegation from the Oguzhan Engineering and technology University of Turkmenistan has visited the Khorasan Science & Technology Park in Iran, to explore opportunities for scientific and technological collaboration between the two nations, Trend reports via the International Information Center (IIC) of Turkmenistan.

During the three-day visit, Turkmen specialists were introduced to the capabilities of the Iranian Science and Technology Park in areas such as petrochemicals, electronics, and other fields.

The delegation proposed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Turkmen University and Iranian Tech Park. The agreement would aim to strengthen research, technological cooperation, and knowledge exchange, fostering the development of an innovation ecosystem between Turkmenistan and Iran.

The Turkmen representatives highlighted that the proximity of the two countries presents significant opportunities for collaboration in various sectors. They emphasized that such cooperation could contribute to the advancement of new technologies and enhance the scientific potential of both nations.
