House Of Azerbaijan Opens In USA

BAKU. Azerbaijan. August 18. The House of
Azerbaijan has opened in the city of Alexandria, located near
Washington, in the state of Virginia, USA, Trend reports.
The ceremony was attended by Azerbaijanis living in nearby
cities, representatives of the diaspora and employees of the State
Committee for Work with Diaspora. The ribbon-cutting ceremony at
the opening ceremony was conducted by the Chairman of the State
Committee for Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov.
Speaking later, co-founder of the House of Azerbaijan Ayan
Aliyeva said that the main goal of the House of Azerbaijan and the
Azerbaijan Association is to provide teaching of the Azerbaijani
language, especially for children born in the United States. She
noted that this center will become an important place for
Azerbaijan and the Turkic world.
Another co-founder of the House of Azerbaijan, Sevda Tahirli,
emphasized that they have been working on the implementation of
this idea for five years. According to her, for many years, under
the name of the House of Azerbaijan, they will continue the work
done in the direction of promoting Azerbaijani culture, art, music
and cuisine. Tahirli noted that the main mission of this center is
to be a place where everyone can come together and gain confidence
in solving their problems.
Fuad Muradov emphasized in his speech that the Azerbaijani state
will always continue to support such activities. He noted the
importance of the functional functioning of Azerbaijani houses and
emphasized the importance of implementing these activities
primarily in accordance with the wishes of the community. Muradov
also mentioned the fifth summer camp for diaspora youth held in
Lachin in early August and emphasized the importance of youth
participation in these events.
The First Secretary of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the United
States, Togrul Aliyev, who also spoke, expressed the embassy's
support for these events.
