Azerbaijan, Israel Talk Expanding Digital Technologies Co-Op


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. Azerbaijan and Israel have discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of digital technologies, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on X, Trend reports.

The minister noted that a meeting was held with the Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Yaakov Blitshtein.

“We explored opportunities to expand our joint economic activities in the following areas: joint investment projects with Israeli companies, strengthening relations with the business community, and strengthening cooperation in trade, industry, innovation, and digital technologies,” the publication says.

According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, trade turnover between the two countries from January through May this year reached $921.66 million. Exports accounted for $909.9 million, while imports accounted for $11.719 million.
