(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Chairman of the StateCommittee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan AnarGuliyev received a delegation from Belarus headed by Minister ofArchitecture and construction Ruslan Parkhamovich on May 14, 2024,Trend reports.
Welcoming the guests, Anar Guliyev expressed his satisfactionwith the close cooperation and exchange of experience betweeninstitutions in the fields of city planning, architecture, andconstruction. These collaborations have been fostered over the pastyears due to the“Memorandum of Intent to intensify cooperationbetween the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of theRepublic of Belarus and the State Committee for Urban Planning andArchitecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
The Azerbaijani chair also provided detailed information aboutthe reforms implemented by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan inurban development, particularly the large-scale constructionprojects in the territories liberated from occupation under the“IState Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories ofAzerbaijan”.
Expressing gratitude for the information provided, RuslanParkhamovich shared updates on the reforms and innovations in theconstruction sector in Belarus in recent years. He also discussedthe potential for strengthening bilateral relations betweenAzerbaijan and Belarus in various spheres.
During the meeting, the sides actively discussed opportunitiesto expand cooperation and relations in urban planning, publicadministration, settlement design, and the construction offacilities in both countries.
