Border Pillars In Tavush Ensure Armenia's Security - PM Pashinyan


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. The border pillars inTavush are a guarantee of Armenia's security, Armenian PrimeMinister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference, Trend reports.

“Since the prior guarantees failed, the focus of current eventsin Armenia is on creating new security pledges,” he emphasized.

Pashinyan pledged to exert maximum effort to enhance theseassurances and expand the number of border pillars.

As part of efforts to clarify coordinates, geodetic measurementsas of May 6, 2024, led to the installation of 40 border pillarsalong the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The collaborative efforts of expert groups from both countriesare ongoing.
