She made this statement at the panel discussion, "EnsuringSustainable Peace for Revival and Preservation of Culture in thePost-Conflict Period," which was part of the VI Forum onIntercultural Dialogue.

"While our territories were occupied, our cultural heritageendured acts of vandalism and destruction." We are convening anddeliberating on these matters. All individuals worldwide shoulddemonstrate against these acts of vandalism. Individuals who choosenot to speak out about the acts of vandalism that occurred duringthe occupation of Azerbaijani territories suddenly become vocalwhen it comes to the destruction of cultural assets in othernations. Azerbaijan is not only safeguarding its own culturalheritage, but it is also striving to preserve the cultural heritageof the entire world. What is the reason behind certain countriesadopting a hypocritical stance towards Azerbaijan and employingdouble standards in their communication? Detriment to theAzerbaijani ecosystem has global repercussions for our planet'secology," she stated.
