France's Diplomats Expelled From Burkina Faso, Says Observer Online

The French stateauthorities, which committed espionage and other illegalitiesthrough their embassies without respecting the sovereign rights ofthe countries, once again faced an international scandal thatdamaged the reputation of France, said Observer Online, which isknown for periodic series of articles, indicated this statement inits following publication titled as "France was shown the dooragain" on April 19, 2024, Trend reports.

It is said in the article:“After declaration of the Frenchembassy's intelligence officers as "persona non grata" anddispatching them back to Paris in connection with the criminal caseinvestigated at the security authority of Azerbaijan, in December2023, several countries have followed this experience delightedly,as well as Burkina Faso, with a Note dated April 16, 2024, declared3 French "diplomats" as "persona-non grata" for their subversiveactivities and ensured their expulsion from the country. There isno other country that number of diplomats have been expelled, andthe course of events suggests France will break its own record.

On April 18, 2024, the "France 24" channel says that officialParis considers the expulsion of diplomats from the countryunjustified. "There was no legal basis for this decision of theBurkinabé officials, we only feel regret," said Christophe Lemoine,the spokesman of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
