India Resumes Business, Conference Visa Services In Canada From Today


(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Oct 26 (KNN) The High Commission located in Ottawa, Canada has officially confirmed that it will recommence visa services for entry, business, medical, and conference visas, with the reinstatement of services set to take effect from October 26.

India has announced its intention to reinstate certain categories of visa services in wake of the diplomatic dispute with Canada.

This development is occurring in the midst of an escalating diplomatic standoff, which recently resulted in the expulsion of over 40 Canadian diplomats from New Delhi.

In a press release issued by the High Commission of India in Ottawa, it has been disclosed that their consulates general in Toronto and Vancouver have collectively decided to reinstate visa services.

As per the official Press Release issued by Indian authorities,“The High Commission of India in Ottawa and its Consulates General in Toronto and Vancouver were constrained to suspend visa services temporarily because of safety and security considerations. After a considered review of the security situation that takes into account some recent Canadian measures in this regard, it has been decided to resume visa services.”
