South Korea considers Turkey to be Europe's most significant commercial partner

(MENAFN) South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin stated on Monday that his nation considers Turkey, which is home to about 160 Korean enterprises, to be one of Europe's most significant commercial partners.

In an interview with Anadolu, he stated that "Türkiye is one of the most important economic partners in Europe for South Korea."

Park pointed out that his three-day trip to Turkey, a "blood brother country," was important and that both nations' strategic alliance is going to grow in numerous industries.

Park noted that Turkey was the fourth nation to send the most soldiers to fight in the Korean War, stating, "Our people are always grateful, and they do not forget Türkiye's sacrifice."

Park also emphasized the military industry, stating that the Altay tank, which was outfitted with a power pack provided by Korea, was delivered in April.

He stated that he attended the 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF'23) this past week in Istanbul and talked with Turkey's National Defense Minister Yasar Guler.
