Russia, Iran talk about ways to expand collaboration in telecommunications


(MENAFN) Russia and Iran have talked about ways to expand their collaboration in several domains of telecommunications.

In accordance with an Iranian telecommunication ministry statement, the head of Russia's telecommunications regulator agency Roskomnadzor spoke with Iranian telecoms minister Issa Zarepour on Sunday to address internet-related concerns.

According to the declaration, that was carried by the semi-official ILNA news agency, both sides discussed ideas on the safety of minors on the internet, a sector in which Iran has expertise to offer with Russia.
