(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The largest number of enemy drones used by Russian invaders to conduct aerial reconnaissance is recorded in the Kherson region, in the Dnipro riverbed. Spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform.
"Enemy unmanned aerial vehicles are operating quite powerfully along the entire demarcation line. 10, 15, and sometimes 20 drones are simultaneously in the range of our radar systems. Thus, the enemy is conducting aerial reconnaissance in the south, most of them are always working in Kherson region, in the Dnipro riverbed," Ihnat said.
Ihnat added that enemy tactical aviation is also working to support ground operations. Guided bombs are constantly launched from aircraft, he stated.

As reported, on the night of July 18, Russians attacked Ukraine from the south with six Kalibr cruise missiles and 36 Shahed attack drones. The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed six Kalibr missiles, 31 Shahed-136/131 drones and one reconnaissance UAV.
