Prince Harry blames tabloids for ruining his life

(MENAFN) Prince Harry walked into courtroom witness box on Tuesday to blame Britain’s tabloid press for its "destructive” part during his life, only to find himself guilty and blamed by a newspaper's attorney for how he could blame his torture on articles he couldn't remember reading.

The Duke of Sussex became the initial senior member of the royal family to state in more than a 100 years as he lifted a Bible in his right hand and, in a calm voice, swore to tell the "whole truth and nothing but the truth” in the High Court in London.

Harry charges the distributor of the Daily Mirror of utilizing illegal techniques on an "industrial scale” to score front-page stories on his life.

Sitting in the witness box, wearing a dark suit and tie, Harry informed Mirror Group Newspapers lawyer Andrew Green that he had "experienced hostility from the press since I was born." The prince charged the tabloids of playing "a destructive role in my growing-up.”
