Amir Patronises Graduation Ceremony Of Qatar University Students
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Amir sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the graduation ceremony of the 46th batch (class of 2023) of Qatar University students, held at the University's Sports and Events Complex on Monday morning.
HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Their Excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers, members of the University's Board of Trustees, University's Vice-Presidents, and Students' parents attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, HH the Amir honored the 107 outstanding graduate students, while HE President of Qatar University (QU) Dr. Hassan bin Rashid Al Derham handed certificates to the 767 graduate students in various disciplines.
A film about students' academic journey was displayed, in addition to the achievements of Qatar University during the academic year 2022-2023, its most prominent activities, programs, and research innovations in various fields.
The ceremony included a speech by HE President of Qatar University (QU) Dr. Hassan bin Rashid Al Derham, and a speech by student Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Ansari, on behalf of the graduates.
