Bodies Of Two More Victims Of Russian Aggression Discovered In Kharkiv Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the Kharkiv region's Izium district, the Police have recovered bodies of two more victims of Russian armed aggression.

The relevant statement was made by the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The mummified remains of unidentified civilians were found near a farm in the village. [...] The representatives of the Izium District Department of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region conducted an inspection of the scene and recovered the bodies, which were sent for forensic examination in order to identify victims and determine the cause of death,” the report states.



According to the preliminary data, two local residents from the Izium district's village of Sulyhivka were killed in Russia's air bombardment in spring 2022.

The police opened criminal proceedings in accordance with Part 2, Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
