The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on March 17, 2023, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to the government portal .

“The EU and Ukraine have extended the 'transport visa-free regime' for another year. Ukrainian carriers will further need no permits for bilateral and transit transportation to the EU. The transport agreement has proven to be effective since its inception. The volume of cargo transportation and the number of carriers have increased by more than 50%,” Shmyhal noted.

According to Shmyhal, Ukraine is integrating into the European transport network, TEN-T, and implementing the Solidarity Lanes initiative to increase the export of Ukrainian-produced agricultural products.
