Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul closes Wednesday’s session 0.37 percent higher


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index earned 38.22 points — or 0.37 percent — on Wednesday to end standing at 10,507.72.

Whereas MSCI Tadawul 30 Index recorded a rise of 0.21 percent to reach 1,439.54, the similar market Nomu ended 0.76 percent up to reach 19,212.09.

TASI’s overall exchange turnover of the main index stood at SR3.41 billion (USD910 million), with 99 shares of the registered 224 increasing and 100 decreasing.

Saudi Public Transport Co. was the highest earner, climbing 6.56 percent to reach SR17.54.

Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Co. was the second-peakiest earner, increasing 3.82 percent to stand at SR157.80. The firm on Tuesday gained Saudi Central Bank’s acceptance to reintroduce its insurance actions license. The license is active for three years, beginning from March 26, 2023, the insurer told Tadawul.

The other high earners were Alkhaleej Training and Education Co., Savola Group as well as Sahara International Petrochemical Co. All three shares gained within the 3-4 percent rate.
