Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani inaugurated the Mohammed bin Ghanim Al-Ghanim Naval Academy this morning in Al-Shamal.
His Highness the Amir turned the helm to signal the opening of the building and viewed a presentation on the building's units and its various modern facilities and equipment, such as the search and rescue building and the damage inventory building.
His Highness the Amir was accompanied by HE Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, HE Lieutenant General Pilot Salem bin Hamad bin Aqil al-Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, HE Rear Admiral Khaled bin Nasser Al-Hajri, Commander of the Mohammed bin Ghanem Al-Ghanim Naval Academy, and a number Security leaders and senior officials.
