BMI Makes Nation Independent from shipping in Smart Fuel Cards

(MENAFN) Members of the Bank Melli Iran (BMI) Board of Directors, senior managers of the National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company, as well as the Chief Executive of the Publishing and Printing Company of Bank Melli Iran, attended the unveiling ceremony for the creation of the Smart Fuel Card, according to the bank's public relations department.

The first speaker, Bank Melli Iran's Caretaker Abolfazl Najjarzadeh, stated that the bank's cooperation with the National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company was carried out in accordance with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's directives regarding self-sufficiency and promoting domestic production.

Every time a nation has relied on foreign nations for its strategic output, those nations have abandoned it when the nation was in need. Therefore, the worries that now exist in this area can be removed by localizing smart fuel cards throughout the nation.

Najjarzadeh took advantage of the occasion to express his gratitude for the tireless work of the personnel and team at BMI's Publishing and Printing Company, and he said, “With an 85-year experience in the field of printing, the Publishing and Printing Company is one of the oldest companies that printed banknotes and securities in the country when the Central Bank had not been established.”
